Lory's Place Kids' Camp Lifetimes

(a bereavement camp for children who have experienced the death of someone they love)
Â
Working with animals is therapeutic for young children. Horses in particular can bring a unique level of peace and companionship. Though very large animals, especially compared to small children, horses are relatable in the way they love and even grieve. On June 21, 2014, Concord Ridge will host a camp consisting of kid-friendly, age-appropriate equine activities. We will provide a dinner fit for a cowgirl or cowboy, topped with a special dessert around the camp fire. Please join us for an opportunity to learn more about and from these gentle companions.

See www.lorysplace.org for information regarding this grief-healing and education bereavement center, or contact Lisa Bartoszek at lbartoszek@lorysplace.org. Registration is required to participate in Camp Lifetimes.

Please note that Lory’s Place was named after Lory Schults (Sophia’s mother) who tragically died in an automobile accident in 2004.
